Whitney Frisch, International School of Minnesota
Whitney Frisch is an Admissions Representative for the International School of Minnesota and has 20 years of experience working with families. She has a Master of Science degree in curriculum and instruction from Minnesota State University and a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin. She has completed graduate coursework in parent education and is certified to administer the Gesell Developmental Observation for children.
Dr. Angela Busch, MD, PhD, All About Children Pediatrics
Angie Busch received her M.D. degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1995 after completing a Ph.D. in pharmacology at the University of Michigan in 1991. She finished her pediatric residency training at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH and spent one year in subspecialty training in pediatric hematology/oncology at Michigan. She is board-certified in pediatrics and has special interests in hematology/oncology, ADHD/autism, and adolescent gynecology.
Dr. Gerry Foo, PhD, LP, Psychological Solutions for Families
Gerry Foo has specialty training in conducting diagnostic evaluations (including psychological assessment of emotional/behavioral problems) and cognitive-behavioral/solution-focused individual and family psychotherapy for preschool- and school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults referred for anxiety and mood disorders, behavioral difficulties, eating disorders, pervasive developmental disorders, adjustment to divorce, and family and peer relationship problems.
Linda Keene, Girl Scouts
Linda Keene is the chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys. In her role, Linda provides vision and leadership to continue the integration of five legacy Councils into a high capacity organization. Most recently, Ms. Keene served as Executive Vice-President of Marketing for Scholastic Inc., the global children's media company. Previously, she held senior-level marketing positions with American Express Financial Advisors, Pillsbury, and Gillette. She has also been recognized as a top corporate achiever by Essence, Ebony, Black Enterprise, Working Woman and Sales & Marketing Management magazines. Linda holds an MBA from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration and a BA from Boston University School of Management, from which she received the Distinguished Alumni Award in May 1999.
Jim Gilbert, Consulting Naturalist
Jim is a widely known and respected consulting naturalist for WCCO radio and teacher at Gustavus Adolphus College. MN. For more than 30 years he has been observing the changing seasons, and in 2008, published the book Minnesota Nature Notes. His phenological observations are also found in regular columns in the Minneapolis Star Tribune as well as the annual Minnesota Weatherguide Environment Calendar. Jim previously served as Director of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
Deborah Landon, International Educational Advisory Services
Deborah Landon, an independent educational consultant since 2002, counsels students in the college and graduate admissions process. She has personally visited and evaluated numerous colleges and graduate programs throughout North America and overseas. Prior to becoming an Independent Consultant, Deborah served as an alumna admissions representative for Connecticut College and in an advisory capacity to foreign national MBA students at the University of Illinois.
