Community Involvement Encouraging Youth: Scholarship Contest Connected for College sponsors a scholarship contest each year. To qualify, students must submit an essay on the topic of College Competencies. Watch the website for details on this year's competition.
Developing Youth: Student Advisory Board and College Internship
Connected for College maintains a student advisory board and college internship position which are designed to provide youth with leadership experience. Our students provide valuable feedback and help us stay connected to teen culture. In return, they have the opportunity to learn about business and the world of college admissions by: ¨ Writing articles for our blog ¨ Evaluating new content ¨ Providing graphic design assistance ¨ Representing Connected for College at various local events

Giving Back: Teens Alone
Connected for College donates a portion of its profits to the nonprofit organization, Teens Alone.
Teens Alone provides free and confidential counseling and crisis services year round to youth and parents. Teens Alone is a non-profit organization that addresses issues of drug/alcohol abuse, emotional, sexual and physical abuse, racial issues, pregnancy, sexual orientation, family breakups and teen homelessness. www.teensalone.org |
